Côta Vera Name

Côta, meaning share and dimension, and Vera, meaning real, true, and genuine– these terms were derived from multiple European languages and reference authenticity, truth, and also a geographical reference to a preserve edge.

The circumflex (the little hat) above the “ô” in Côta was chosen as a representation of the French language. It does not change the pronunciation of the letter “o” but does represent historical meaning in Europe. This accent was at risk of elimination until France fought back to preserve its historical accent.
